Chairman - Kudzai Maguchu LLB Hons (UZ)

Kudzai is the Managing Partner of Dube Manikai and Hwacha Legal Practitioners (“DMH”), one of Zimbabwe’s leading law firms. He has practised law in Zimbabwe for the past 13 years. Kudzai sits on the boards of a number of local companies including Standards Association of Zimbabwe and Shelter (Private) Limited.

Non Executive Director - Bartholomew Mswaka BA Econ

Bart is the Managing Director of Renaissance Securities (Private) Limited. He worked for the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe and the Bank of Botswana before joining Edwards and Company. He left the then renamed Fleming Martin Edwards Securities where he had risen to Executive Director-Sales to join HSBC Securities as its Managing Director. Bart is a registered Stockbroker and the immediate past Chairman of the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange.

Non Executive Director – Tatenda Mutizwa B Comm. Hons (UCT), CA (SA), CFA

Tatenda is currently a founding Director of Nisela Capital, an Africa focused mezzanine fund. Prior to that Tatenda was employed as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs International, based in Johannesburg and covering Sub Saharan Africa.  Tatenda trained with Ernst Young in South Africa and is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor in Commerce in Financial Accounting from the University of Cape Town South Africa.

Non Executive Director – Gcinumuzi Viki CA (Z)

Gcinumuzi is a Chartered Accountant by training. He trained with Deloitte and Touche before joining Meikles Africa Limited a ZSE listed company where he worked as the Corporate Finance Manager. Gcini has also worked as the Divisional Finance Director in the treasury department of another listed company, Innscor Africa Limited. Currently he is the Finance Controller for the Network operations for Econet Wireless Zimbabwe.

Non Executive Director – Linda Mukusha MBA (Nottingham), Zimbabwean

Linda currently heads Cell Medical Aid Society, a newly formed subsidiary of Cell Insurance. She has over 21 years of working experience in the banking and insurance industries. She has occupied senior management positions at CGU Insurance and Fidelity Insurance. She has also started and run a microfinance entity of her own in the part. Linda brings a lot of industry knowledge together with human resource and marketing expertise that she has gained over the years.

Non Executive Director (Alternate) – Joseph Mutizwa, B.Sc. (Hons) (LSE), MBA (UZ)

Joe served as the Chief Executive Officer at Delta Corp. Ltd., an associate of Sabmiller from April 2002 to May 31, 2012. He served as an Economist at the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe and worked for Anglo American Corporation in Human Resources. Joe holds a First Class Honours degree from the London School of Economics; an MBA from the University of Zimbabwe and has attended several senior executive development programmes including the SEP at London Business School. Joe brings a wealth of experience as a business leader and director on many boards.

 
Non Executive Director – Jonathan Chenevix-Trench, BA Oxford

Jonathan Chenevix-Trench is a founding partner at African Century, a private equity fund focused on Africa. He is the former chairman and CEO of Morgan Stanley International, where he spent over 23 years in a wide range of roles covering most of the investment banking business. In addition, he was chairman of Morgan Stanleys regulated banks in both the UK and in Russia. He is also the founding partner and chairman of a UK based real estate company, investing in commercial, retail and residential property in the UK and Germany. Jonathan brings significant investment and international banking experience to Untu.

 
Coco Ferguson
Non Executive Director - Coco Ferguson

Coco Ferguson co-founded Maris Capital in 2008 and is involved in sourcing and managing investments in Southern Africa. Prior to Maris Capital, Coco was Director for Programmes at the Institute for Philanthropy. Before joining the Institute in 2005, Coco studied Persian and obtained masters in International Politics from the School of International Relations, Tehran. She has a degree in Classics from Magdalen College, Oxford and is on the board of Bidoun.

 
Non Executive Director – Matthew A Hosak , BBSc(UCT)

Matt has worked for GP2 Asset Management in Zimbabwe, before moving to the UK, where he joined Walter Capital Management as a trader and then analyst. Matt joined SAC Global Investors as an analyst on the global generalist portfolio, within which he specialised in the basic resource sector. At SAC he managed his own sub-portfolio and advised on core positions in the overall portfolio. Matt was also responsible for the capital markets related business for SAC in Europe, dealing and participating in rights issues, secondaries and IPOs. In 2009, Matt left SAC and joined Richard L Walter in setting up Sub-Sahara Capital Group.
